38[F4R] Currently accepting audiobook recommendations

I’m 38 and from Canada. I have magenta hair, a bunch of tattoos, a Pomeranian, and more trips planned in my head than I have vacation days approved at work.

I’ve spent years climbing the corporate ladder and somehow became one of the people responsible for everything. I genuinely like what I do, but I’ve also reached the age where I regularly wonder if I should’ve opened a bookstore, moved to Europe, or become one of those people who owns a cafe or bookstore. Unfortunately, I was born a little too early to become a travel influencer, so meetings it is. 😂

Outside of work I’m usually planning my next trip, building LEGO, listening to audiobooks, spending six hours building a house in Paralives before remembering I’m supposed to actually play the game..then not playing it, or trying to keep my garden alive. Shockingly, the garden is doing well this year. I fully expected to kill everything. I’m also probably watching absolute garbage reality TV because apparently that’s how I choose to unwind and doing 3 things at once is my preferred pastime.

I’m verrrry happy staying in on weekends, asking me if I have weekends plans drives me crazy. Give me an audiobook, a cozy game, and zero plans. My garden also gets a full inspection every morning, just in case a zucchini magically doubled in size overnight..8 plants is too many, just FYI.

Tell me about the place you’ve always wanted to visit, the hobby you’ve spent way too much money on, or the weird rabbit hole you’ve disappeared into lately.

Mostly just looking for good people, entertaining two sided conversations, and the occasional pet photo. If you have a dog, there’s a good chance I’m going to ask to see them.
