Am i tripping or is it just how it is?

Im playing recluse. We have a dutches and a raider on our team. We go to the first Fort and when we get up to the crystal bitch and mage, the dutches is with me then suddenly disappears, i get downed and see them coming out of the room where the staffs are and i get picked up, when i go in there the dutches too all the staffs.

Whatever we keep playing and i end up having to just the starting staff cause i wasn't getting staff drops, anyways i got my starting staff all the way till the first night when i see dutches casting stars of ruin and i kinda got mad cause like...ugh why did you take all the staffs man!?

I know theres some magic dutches but she could only cast stars of ruin like 2 times and wouldn't use it again.

It just felt very loot goblin-ly
