Moving back to South Africa and wondering what i can do that might benefit me back in SA ?
As the title says going back home and only have two months left basically (in the UK) and i was wondering if anyone had suggestions of things i could do or get in the UK that might benefit me back home?
Ive looked into qualifications at work but i either don’t have enough time or its just and internal certificate( still plan on doing it as it might mean something back home 😂)
I dont expect much but in the off chance there is something i would appreciate it TIA
Edited to add some context: came over with my wife who is a skilled worker in audit. I studied psychology and criminology but still lean towards working with my hands or being in a physical field, so when i came over i started in retail en built up some certifications and experience in supervision and what not. (Just went to retail because its what i did when i was studying)
Ive always been busy with my hands, i worked in all trades fields back in SA but very unofficial work so all i got from it is that i enjoy a lot of it😂
Thats why i considered something like a forklift license as it is fast easy and within my interests but it happens to be cheaper in SA and different qualifications so if i do it in the uk id have to do a transfer and or refresher course to be ‘qualified’ in SA
I am from Bloemfontein free state, switching between family in western cape and free state in south africa as for the UK i am based in Cambridge with a car and as for budget there is savings and we will be selling a lot of stuff we accumulated like the car so if it would be worth it to do a course or something id be able to fund it.
