AITA for finally moving forward?

AITA

Hello everyone, It has been a while since I last posted.

So some background information on this.

I had broken up with my boyfriend of 3 years because of his attitude, How he treated me to be like his servant. His mom was a nightmare, And I was no longer in love with him.

Now, I'm 19, I'm turning 20 in December. Keep that in mind for later.

My ex is 19, Turning 20 in February. Again! Keep that in mind.

Now, My ex has been in Mississippi for the past 4 months, We have been broken up for all those 5 months. 2 months later, I was working at my old job, Before I quit for unrelated reasons, And I had a Doordash delivery guy come in, we're going to name him Odin. He's 30, I like him, He is funny, and we have the same kind of humor.

Now, I told Odin about my ex, who we will call Dallas, Odin understood and said that it seemed I was playing a mom roll to an adult. I looked at it from that perspective and realized that yeah, I'd been basically dating a man child.

Odin asked me if I wanted a Ride home after work because I usually walked home. I agreed. I live with my parents until I get an apartment of my own.

Odin gave me a ride, He also Went in and got me a Dr. Pepper blackberry without asking me why and groaning, I paid for his gas as a thank you and ever since then we had been talking. He met my parents and he doesn't like my little brother, But he tolerates him, We aren't dating but more of a situation. My ex found out and started freaking out on me. He came back to Wisconsin to visit his mother and he saw me at a grocery store with Odin one day and he walked over, making a very uncomfortable scene. I was just trying to buy stuff to make meatloaf.

Odin told him to back off and that if Dallas ever talked to another woman like that again, It would be his last breath.

Dallas called me selfish and that I was just a cheap fun night. Odin bought the stuff and we went back to my parents to start making meatloaf, The whole time I was crying. Odin didn't make a fuss about me crying, He just held me until I was steady enough to cook.

Dallas's mom called me calling me a cheater and that I was a pathetic brat who was spoiled and clearly never cared about her son. I just hung up and blocked her. I'm happy with my life right now. Some of my and Dallas's mutual friends think I'm being rude and that I shouldn't have moved on so fast, I told them me and Dallas had been broken up for at least 2 months before I ever met Odin.

I don't think I'm in the wrong, but AITA for finally moving forward?
