why do people in relationships always say "we" when referring to everything in life

Like yeah congratz, i'm married too i don't always say we for every thing i ever talk about, but i see people especially when talking about taking care of their dogs they'll say "we like to..." or "we usually..." and it just sounds so cringe to me, why don't people just say I?
