Hey everyone,

I own a 2025 Honda CB350RS (Red) and I'm planning a subtle OEM+ customization. The only changes I want are:

1. Black center pinstripe running from the front cowl to the rear cowl.

2. Replace the stock chrome HONDA tank emblem with a vintage Honda logo.

3. Keep everything else completely stock.

The issue is that I got completely conflicting opinions from two customization shops in Bengaluru.

Shop 1 said:

1. The side HONDA emblem can be removed safely using thread/fishing line.

2. They'll remove the adhesive residue and install the new emblem.

3. The CB350RS graphic on top of the tank is under the clear coat, so that cannot be removed without repainting.

Shop 2 (Motorcare) said:

1. Removing the emblem with thread can scratch the paint.

2. Removing it with heat can fade the paint.

3. Either way, the damage will be visible, so they advised me not to remove the emblem at all.

Now I'm confused because I've seen quite a few customized CB350/CB350RS bikes running vintage Honda logos, so clearly people are getting this done somehow.

I have a few questions for those who've actually done this:

1. Has anyone here removed the factory HONDA tank emblem on a CB350RS?

2. Was there any paint damage, ghosting, fading, or noticeable marks afterwards?

3. Is the top CB350RS tank graphic really under the clear coat?

4. If you're from Bengaluru, can you recommend a shop that has successfully done this modification before?

I'd really appreciate replies from people with first-hand experience rather than assumptions. Thanks!
