You know the shortage is bad when....

Hormone Therapy

This morning alone, I've seen three ads from Musely, touting the oral estradiol pill as part of your menopause care routine. I laughed. Hard.

I'm on oral estradiol. Made the switch in February because the patches and gels weren't working for me. Been quite happy with my decision. But I'm also aware of how often the oral version of HRT gets overlooked and considered inferior care. I find it funny that now that the shortage has hit patches and gels, the pill is suddenly "part of your menopause care."

Guess I'd better stock up now because the pills will be next to experience a shortage....
