Claude's Comedy Club in South Philly

I went to Claude's and I enjoyed it. I'm not affiliated with it and really only go to a handful of comedy shows a year.

A lot of people I talked to didn't realize a comedy club was opening in South Philly so I wanted to get the word out. It was awesome to be able to walk to a place and I feel like its a much needed spot for nightlife in South.

I can feel the ghost of the old thrift store when I walk down there, but they did a really good job of renovating/decorating the place. The bar is really cool and it almost feels like walking into a speakeasy.

The prices of drinks were extremely reasonable, a highlife for $4.50. There were no drink minimums so its overall way more affordable than Punchline or Helium. I will say service was a little shaky, but I'll give them credit because its still new and they are likely working out the kinks.

Lastly, it was cozy in the club itself, but not chairs touching tight like in Helium.

Overall I recommend checking it out. Its a really cool addition to the city.
