Ork Boys Stand-ins?

Long time Revolushun enthusiast, recently running into a roadblock. I want to custom an ork army as grots, but my gaming community is picky about "silhouettes" being similar. Since this is a passion project, I don't just want to upsize the bases and put the grots on rocks. Any ideas for some sick conversions? Ideally, I want the same number of grots per base as wounds on the actual model. (putting 12 on my ghaz model will be interesting)

Some ideas I've already started:

Squig hopper conversions (beast snaggas)

Grot in a can/barrel/box stealthy boys

Unicycle grots

Stilts grots

grots on each others shoulders for nobs

Archimedes Flyers for copters

Im not looking to win many games with this army. My goal is to make my opponents laugh so hard they can't play. The more outrageous the better
