U20 World Cup Timeline AND NewGen XI Predicted Lineup

With the introduction of teddy knight, we now have 4 spots left on the new gen xi roster. Using a predicted bracket structure of the u20 world cup (shout out @Aerosassain) and making guesses based on the narrative, potential line up of the squad and missing positions, this is my lineup for the full new gen XI.

using a modified 343 formation, we get this. 3 forwards, two wingbacks, two playmaking midfielders and 2 centre backs, a libero (lorenzo) that defends but also acts a deep lying playmaker, and a sweeper keeper (basically an extra defender).

using the predicted timeline and missing positions, here are my explanations for the new gen picks (you can tell I was editing as i wrote this)

  • Makes Germany vs Japan game even harder, development for other characters
• L Wingback/Winger - Brazil
  • Opposite side to teddy, full back and winger, inside forward, creative, chaos
  • Width in attach and aid defensive line, bachira/yukimiya growth? Or aiku redemption (he really needs it)
  • BRAZIL, Roberto Carlos, marcelo, dani alves
• R Centre Back - Netherlands
  • physicality, height and strength, tackles, physical STOPPER, complete DF
  • NETHERLANDS, like van djik
    • face off against France (left side), defensive unit against Loki and Hugo
    • Pure attack vs pure defence.
• L Centre Back - Portugal

  • Ball player, vision, IQ, passing, tactical, system STOPPER, metavision

  • PORTUGAL? quarter final face off against Germany/kaiser leading up to BL Japan

  • Like Isagi, kaiser getting flashbacks?? Hype for Japan game

These are just predictions but I had lots of fun making this.
