Rent a car - Which company and what type of car?

Hi everyone,

We want to rent a car for our holiday in Mallorca in August and was wondering what is the best and the most reliable rent a car company, we want to pay for insurance so we would not leave a deposit if possible, i saw that Centauro had this option but was wondering if anyone has any expecience with this.

Also, should we book a small car or a jeep? I saw that the streets tend to be tight, but since we want to travel the whole island and there are highways to each place, i am not sure if a small car is the best option.
