Curious about baby wearing options

So I’m only a little over 14 weeks pregnant right now, but I know I definitely plan to baby wear once the little guy is here, and I’ve been looking a lot at this sub and it’s been super helpful!

However I’ve been noticing that there are a TON of different styles of carriers for babies and it seems like they vary for different ages/sizes, which is something I didn’t even think about.

So my question is where can I find a comprehensive list (or if people want to just list their suggestions/personal experience) of all the various styles of baby wearing carrier devices and for what ages/stages of babyhood and what the advantages are of the different styles to help me pick what might work best for me!

Fwiw, I am a larger woman, 5’ 4”, right now about 245lbs (was about 235lbs pre-pregnancy) and have already existing lower back problems, which is why I’d prefer to hold the baby in a carrier of some kind versus just holding them with my arms so they’re more secure.
