Two years ago I was running my online coin shop nights and weekends, tracking inventory in spreadsheets, looking up prices tab by tab, and re-typing the same coin into eBay and Whatnot listings. I went looking for software that could do it properly and everything was either built for giant dealers, priced like it, or treated coins/cards/comics as an afterthought. So I did the thing this sub exists for: I built it myself.

It got out of hand in the best way. What started as "an app to photograph a coin and log it" is now Reliqra and my shop runs entirely on it:

\- Snap a photo of a coin, card, comic, or note → AI identifies it, pulls real grade-by-grade pricing, and drops it into your inventory

\- iOS + Android apps that stay in sync, plus a web portal

\- A Chrome extension for people who sell live on Whatnot — it identifies and prices coins on-screen mid-stream

\- eBay integration — list from your inventory, and sales reconcile back automatically across marketplaces

\- Instant storefront — flip a switch and your inventory becomes a hosted ecommerce site, custom domain and all. This one is my favorite; it felt like magic the first time an item I photographed on my phone showed up purchasable on the web thirty seconds later.

Under the hood it's Supabase (Postgres, RLS, edge functions) + AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3/CloudFront) with a pricing data pipeline I'm probably irrationally proud of. No investors, no team, just me and my assistant "Claude", after the kiddo goes to bed. My own coin shop is customer #1, which kept every feature honest: if it didn't save me time on a real shop, it didn't ship.

The video is a quick tour of the whole thing. I'm proud of it, but I'm also one guy who's been staring at this for two years, so I'd genuinely love outside eyes:

\- If you collect or resell anything — what's missing? What would make you switch from spreadsheets?

\- Fellow solo builders — how did you get your first users outside your own niche circles?

\- Any feedback on the video/pitch itself is welcome. Roast away.

Happy to answer anything about the stack or the build.
