Hi fibroid friends.  Me again 38 open Myomectomy June 10 (12 cm  “submucosal” fibroid  and 2 others . I really wished last time would be the last time I posted but feeling a lot of anxiety over the things that have happened this week. 

\- finished my 7 day round of antibiotics for a confirmed uti that gave me no symptoms other than a “pressure “ . On day 3 that pressure started to feel like pain around my peehole when not peeing ( urine test being repeated)

\- felt “bloated” this week but more the feeling was as if I was pushing out my stomach even when I was not . It also looked much bigger ( ultrasound booked for next week)

\- Thursday July 9 I saw my surgeon who was a bit annoyed with me and all my questions . I asked about the end stitch out of curiosity because it felt like it was getting longer the more time passed she just said “ leave it alone your stitches look great”

\- the next day I had some white stuff come out of that end piece . I squeezed it a tiny bit and it quickly turned into liquid blood that pushed out. Like a pimple .

\- I let the surgeons office know and they said go to the ER . I decided to have a doctor at a walk in look at it . She gave me an exam and said it looks like a minor skin infection and prescribed OF COURSE antibiotics because thats the way it is. 

Since day one laugh always hurt . It’s gotten better but during the exam I REALLY LAUGHED because I was ticklish . 

QUESTION has anyone ever felt they laughed to much and not feel all weird around the incision abs? Can you cause damage in such a way? I don’t think she pressed to hard it was from my laugh I contracted the muscles .

When I asked my surgeon why I have consistently been having groin pain she said “ I was no where near that area. The operation was here”

These are from this week except the one showing the full scar is from a week ago . I don’t really want to take antibiotics.

Anyone with similar experiences?
