Struggling with vraylar titration

So a month ago I started Vraylar 0.5. I noticed that I had a little bit more energy in my suicidal thoughts went away. The plan was to go 30 days on 0.5 and then bump up to 1.5 which is what I’ve been on for the past five days. I’m noticing that instead of it being activating it now causes sleepiness.

The plan has been to cross wean from Zyprexa over to Vraylar. It’s a big experiment because before Zyprexa I was in a catatonic state where I couldn’t get out of bed. So there’s a big risk in trying this. I guess the benefit is I can always go back on Zyprexa and within a day or two should be back to normal.

Did anyone have trouble titrating up and did the side effects go away? I’m trying to remain hopeful.
