1 year of not seeing him, and i just met up with him

Me and this guy has had a situationship in the past for about a year. We met up once after the break off but since then I've never actually talked to him. We broke things off back then because we were on different stages in life and we were too different.

I met up with him a few days ago. It was 8P.M. and at his place. My friends were obviously concerned for me because I haven't seen this guy in awhile, and they didn't want me to sleep with him.

We hung out for 5 hours-ish and watched movies, talked about life a little, and ate dinner together. The only physical thing he did was play with my hair and playfully touched each other hands. He still remembers my habits and patterns, and he's still very observant with my reactions, even asking me "Are you scared of me cuz you can't remain eye contact with me." I left after 3 movies cuz it was 2A.M. and he had to go to work at 7A.M.

What does he feel about me? And what was the intention of this entire hangout?
