Best Placement for DTF on Beach Towels?

We’ve customized quite a few beach towels at **DTF Dallas**, and one thing we’ve learned is that placement matters.

Small to medium designs work much better than oversized graphics. The best location is near one of the short ends of the towel since that area is flatter and presses more consistently.

For **DTF towel customization**, we prefer Turkish towels like the Smyrna towels we carry. They’re tightly woven, lightweight, absorb water well, dry quickly, and don’t trap as much sand as traditional towels.

Classic fluffy terry towels are a different story. The long loops keep the transfer from making full contact with the fabric, so the results usually aren’t as clean. For those, embroidery is still the better choice.
