I feel the Ranger Vs Ranger battles in Gokaiger could've been a training sim in Megaforce.

That is to say, Gosei has a holodeck of his own and the Rangers try to get a handle of their new Pirate powers by facing Ranger Key constructs that use moves from old veterans. Like there's lip service to them mastering Ranger modes or the Megaforce powers but that should be shown with them training at least.

Say we have Episode 1 of them training to develop their new fighting skills as adapted from Gokaiger with Jake's klutz-fu and Noah developing slick swordsplay. Then they face Headridge as their first monster.

And if they sadly won't adapt Basco (I feel Vrak could've filled those shoes and slayed), at least they could've padded out episodes with Sentai footage with a story to it.
