For context Thai child is 7, how parents are divorced because his father was very emotionally and physically abusing my daughter. They both now live with me. We have noticed changes in this boys behavior in recent months. It started a few months ago when he came for the week (they trade off every other week) and he asked her if we could eat certain meals for the week and she said yes. This immediately became his habit and if we ever said no to his demands he would have a huge meltdown and cause us of starving him, not ever letting him choose or the best one how nothing is ever about him. In reality everything is always about him or he will act out . We got the dinner part  I think mostly handled but now it’s if he has to do schoolwork or clean his room or help feed animals. He acts out and creates a fight, then it’s our fault for creating the fight. If we ignore him we are bad people for ignoring his behavior and if we defend ourselves if his accusations (he causes us of mistreatment or starting the fight) then we are abusing him and he’s going to tell his dad. His dad behaves this way too. Start a fight over nothing, argue over ridiculous stuff and then it’s your fault for the entire thing. He will make something up, for example he is now doing homeschool, I gave him two pages of math and he protested that I am unfair and give him too much work. I told him he could go back to school where after 8 hour days they give him 10-16 pages of homework. He called his dad to raffle on me that I threatened to send him back to school. Also him and his dad speak in Spanish together and we don’t know what he is saying when he is talking about us. Then he has to clean his room, he goes in and throws things and throws a fit and yells at us insulting us and if we ignore him again we are abusing him, if we say anything or raise our voice back we started it and are treating him badly. It has definitely gotten worse the last few weeks. What do we do?
