State Board Student Confused About CUET

Heyyy!!

I'm a Class 12 student from a state board, and I'm preparing for CUET. My domain subjects are Accountancy, Applied Mathematics, and Business Studies.

The issue is that my state board syllabus is quite different from CBSE, especially in Applied Maths and some parts of Accountancy.

I'm confused between these two options:

1. Study CBSE Class 12 alongside my state board throughout the year.

2. Wait for the PW CUET Batch (launching in August) and prepare only from that for CUET.

My goal is to score well in CUET, not just pass my board exams.

For people who have already given CUET:

Is the PW CUET batch enough to build concepts from scratch and score well, especially if you're from a state board?

Or is studying the full CBSE Class 12 syllabus separately still necessary?

If you were in my situation, what would you choose and why?

I'd appreciate advice from anyone who has faced a similar situation. Thanks!
