My humble opinion on how to make this game work

There are 2 types of people really 3 types.

1. people who like the pvp and the overall combat of fighting other squads/people.

2. people who like to pve and loot and progress through the game

3. people who like the game the way it is (whoever is still playing the game as is) smallest pop

So how can we make the first 2 happy.

Group 1(PVP):

the combat feels good and is refreshing compared to whats out there now. It’s much slower than Fortnite, Call of Duty, etc. feels like Halo but more modern with the abilities and different classes and art style. I think the solution here is to divide up the modes. I personally am one of these people the pve is kinda just annoying and i don’t really care for the loot. Id really like a combat based ranking system than the one thats in place. So here is my suggestion our squads goal was to wipe the lobby when we dropped in pretty much a Battle Royale which made it fun to us. However theres only 3-5 other squads on the map. I think either releasing a BR or an arena shooter with a real ranking system could be interesting. They could even do both. I think most of the ground work is there for a BR would be making more spawns and figuring out the storm/circle. Also arena wouldnt be hard just make maps the POIs in game and add a boundary and spawn points.

Group 2 (PVE):

I don’t have much experience with PVE only games but I don’t think they are far off here. I think making more Bosses much larger and more team based bosses like arc raiders have this crowd would enjoy that more. I don’t know if you keep pvp active or just have people queue for pve only. But just the different human like robots is not enough for this crowd. Need more enemies with defined abilities for this to work. Id like to hear what other people want for PVE.

Group 3 (mixed): I just don’t think there is enough people interested in this for this game. Hence why it’s dying. Id be interested in knowing if people would pick a side if the game decided to split it up. Or if they would rather see like a map rotation and keep exactly what they have. They could change it every hour so you get 2-3 queues in on a map. But honestly i don’t know if there would be enough to keep a mix i feel like most if not all would just sway to pvp or pve.

This is just my opinion but I think this should be the direction of the game to move in. Could be like a Save the world in Fortnite and they have the BR it just so happened that the BR became more popular.
