Why are we running after money and career when happiness is more important?

We are running after money and career because we are fooled into believing that money equals happiness, career equals happiness. We have misunderstood pleasure to be the treasure, but in reality, we need peace and purpose. Pleasure is only the tip of the happiness iceberg. But because we believe success is happiness, we continue to chase success. We remain a fool, because this is what we were taught in school.
