Need advice of ndps 27b case for employment (govt)

I was convicted under ndps 27b and with common intention two years ago ,and was paid fine of 3500 in court and case closed

And my questions are ,

1 ) can I remove the conviction from showing in background checks

2. If I attempt govt exams like ssc,sbi ,ipbs psc exams and got selected do they reject me because of the conviction

I don't want to spent 2 to 3 years for the exams and get rejected at last

It will be a disaster for me

I'm an anxious person and I need a clear clarification needed please,my condition now is worst at peak
