Unconditional uni offer for apprenticeship

I just gotten an unconditional offer from the uni ( its small and a not a Russell group one) for the course I'm doing my apprenticeship. If it is unconditional the grades that I get still matter? I thought that as long as the grades I get for the uni it will be fine for the employer to take me.
