Are drivers worse this year?

I’ve been almost hit 3 times in the last week but drivers cutting across multiple lanes of traffic. I really can’t blame out of staters either bc they’ve all been maine plates. Im not a road rager but yesterday after it happened the third time I really thought I was going to blow a gasket
