Solo travelling in Tokyo

Hello ladies! Please give girlie here some advice, it’s my first time solo travelling in Tokyo (I’ve been to Tokyo a few times, but with family/friends).

How was the experience like when travelling alone? Is there anything to look out for? Anyone used taxi hailing apps?

I’m planning perhaps 4 days in Tokyo and 2 days in Kamakura (tentatively) considering going on day trips as well!

One of my biggest concern now is that my flight is landing in Tokyo at 12.55am, so I’ll have to look for accommodation around Narita airport. Would probably require taxis to reach the hotel so I’m wondering if it’s safe to take taxi alone?
