Fun things for kids today in Portland?

I know a family going to Portland today. Theres 4 kids. Three are young. Anyone got any fun things to do? Anything besides the first options on google?

the family just lost their father over the 4th weekend and they just got the information the other day, they are trying to have a nice day in portland.
