Animation!!!

Okay so, it looks like you guys would like to see “Who Hurt You” animated! I’m excited to do so! But I will say this: it’ll take a while to get it out. I kinda work on animation on and off. So it could take as much as multiple months (…or a year, unfortunately…) before it’s out. I wanna avoid animating when I don’t feel up to it, and I think we all agree that it’s best to take your time with things like this if possible.

But I have a few questions that I would love to be answered if you don’t mind! Knowing these would be a huge help while creating it!

* Is there anything specific that any of you would like to see in the animation? Things such as scenes, scenarios, characters, etc…

If so, know that it likely would be lasting anywhere between 1-15 seconds (give or take). But knowing this would both help make it more enjoyable/entertaining/relatable to you, as well as helping me fill in places where I may not be sure what to put!

And if you see someone already suggest something similar or in the same place in the song, that’s okay too! I would love to hear it anyway! While I’ve been doing animation only for a couple years, I’ve been improving well, and I can absolutely find ways to make anything work (Trust me, I’ve done it before by making a sad animation about a lost kitten in the woods and making the message heartwarming with a valuable lesson/story)!

* Would you like me to share my progress with you?

This could be as simple as the storyboard (“a sequence of drawings that depict the key moments and actions of the story”), just a part of the storyboard, screenshot of a single random frame, a short clip of either the animation or me working on it, or even the entire animation itself so far at the time (though I’m not sure if that one’s a good idea lol). It could also be me just updating you on the progress without actually showing you.

* End credits and special thanks! (If you do not wish to be in the special thanks, you can ignore this question)

I plan on having end credits of at least myself and the song. But would you guys like to be in the end credits as well? If yes, how would you like to be addressed/shown?

Whether you frequently comment or interact with my posts or not, you have or haven’t requested a drawing, or if you have any suggestions for the animation or not, it’s okay! I’ll still be happy to mention you in either the animation or post body.

If you do want me to include you, would you like me to address you as your username, a specific drawing/signature?

(Know that this animation will not be posted anywhere but in this subreddit, nor will it be posted on any other social media platform. Though it likely will be shared with my partner and close friends)

I still plan on getting daily drawings out for you all. I enjoy it, and it doesn’t take me long to make a digital drawing (it frequently takes longer for a traditional drawing).

I hope you all are as excited about the animation as I am! It may not be the best, but the thing about longer animations is how you get to see the improvement throughout the animation process!
