Any Christian parents of 7-11 year olds in this group? What books do your children like to read?

I am a 3rd teacher, and I do not work at a Christian school, so I can’t have explicitly Christian books in class. However, I want to be very careful about what kinds of books are in my classroom. Nothing that encourages kids to be mean, secretive, and nothing with homosexual themes, etc.

I’m planning on getting a lot of the books I read as a kid (I was a kid in the early 2000’s) but I also want to get some newer stuff that kids these days love. What kinds of age-appropriate books do your kids love to read?
