Organ learning resources at UD?

Hello all; I’m currently a rising sophomore (engineering major) and as title suggests am looking to start learning the pipe organ. As it’s getting later in the summer, I am hoping to find someone once I’m back at UD. I’ve been looking around for where to find lessons etc., and have largely been coming up empty.

I briefly considered an Applied Music minor with organ concentration, but (correct me if I’m wrong) it looks like that minor is intended for people coming in with some prior experience on the instrument, so not for me.

I know it’s probably a long shot, but I figured I’d ask around here just in case: Does anyone know of any opportunities for organ lessons in the local Newark area, or ways I can get involved with organ coursework/lessons/etc. in the school of music without being a music major? Thanks in advance for any information you can provide!
