Seeking Canada-based OMS for complex TMJ Replacement + Jaw Surgery + Genioplasty

Hi everyone, I’m currently 24 and dealing with TMJ ankylosis on my right side. I’ve had an initial consultation with Dr. Brian Rittenberg ( Crescent Oral Surgery ) but given the complexity and life-altering nature of total TMJ replacement, I am seeking additional consultations to ensure I find the best possible surgical outcome.

My primary priority is functional restoration, but because I am young, I am also looking for a surgeon who is highly skilled in the aesthetic aspects of jaw surgery (facial symmetry, profile balance, etc.).

Could anyone recommend surgeons who:

Specialize in Total TMJ Replacement (TJR)?

Have a track record of focusing on facial aesthetics/orthognathic surgery alongside the joint work?

I am open to traveling anywhere in Canada for the right surgeon. If you’ve had a successful TJR or complex jaw reconstruction, I would appreciate any insight into how you evaluated your surgeon’s aesthetic vision during the consultation process. Thank you so much for your help."
