Any Christian parents of 7-11 year olds in this group? What books do your children like to read?

I am a 3rd teacher, and I do not work at a Christian school, so I can’t have explicitly Christian books in class. However, I want to be very careful about what kinds of books are in my classroom. Nothing that encourages kids to be mean, secretive, and nothing with se*xual themes, etc.

I’m planning on getting a lot of the books I read as a kid (I was a kid in the early 2000’s) but I also want to get some newer stuff that kids these days love. What kinds of age-appropriate books do your kids love to read?
