Question for personal trainers: What content actually converts?
I've noticed a lot of fitness content today is either trying to sell something or throwing random tips at people.
I've been taking a different approach.
Instead of writing flashy "lose 20 lbs in 30 days" style content, I spend more time trying to understand what actually makes people stick with training.
Questions like:
\- Why is this person struggling?
\- What's stopping them from taking action?
\- How can we explain things without sounding like a textbook?
I've been helping fitness coaches turn their knowledge into content that's simple, relatable, and actually sounds human. No fake urgency. No overhyped transformations. Just clear messaging that builds trust over time.
I'm curious how other personal trainers here think about content.
Do you find that educational, conversational posts bring in better clients than the typical motivational or hard-selling posts? Or has your experience been different?
I'd genuinely like to hear what's been working for everyone.
