Data recovery from iPod classic 6th gen, 80g

So about 10/15 years ago I deleted multiple WMV files from an 80g 6th gen iPod classic. I copied the files over using the iPod as a hard drive at the time. Since deleting the files I have used the iPod for storing other films and series.

I have recently been trying to retrieve the wmv files. There were between 10 and 20 of them originally.

So far.

DMDE found 2 corrupt files.

First is a 19 min video which only plays 45 seconds and then stops

Second is a complete 4 min file

Diskdrill found 2 files

2 fully working 4 min files but not any of the corrupt 19 min file

PhotoRec found nothing

Stella found nothing

What, if any, are my best chance of finding the others and maybe repairing the 19min file?

Would removing the hard drive from the iPod help at all?

I understand that the files may have been overwritten but finding 2 fully working files is encouraging
