Character models paint scheme

Im new, I saw something that said librarians wear blue armor to distinguish them as librarians, and ive seen like apothecary and the Biologis wearing white, is it common that people still paint them in the colors of their chapters? Like I know I can do whatever I want, but do yall do paint them w just accents of chapter colors or like they are on the box? Which is the more chad option?🤔
