Do you need ma35 for criminal record certificate?

Hey! I moved to Vienna at the beginning of 2026 from another eu country. It took me this long to find a job where I will be starting in august because of the current job market. The employer needs an austrian criminal record check from me, i looked it up and have an appointment in person (since i dont have austria id).

My question is the following: can I expect any kind of complications because my MA35 is not valid? I have a Meldezettel and all necesarry EU documentation, but since I didnt have a job, couldnt get the MA35 yet.
Have anyone experience problems with this before?
