Downloaded the game 2 days ago; How do I play Psy?

Hello Psy enjoyers! I downloaded the game literally 2 days ago and I’ve been enjoying it mostly, but I really want to learn her.

I’ve heard she’s pretty weak though (🤫).

For some context, I have 1.3k hours in overwatch and am high diamond dps. I love dive and especially flanker heros, which is why I’m so interested is Psylocke. Her vibe is amazing, and she feels really similar to my main in OW, Anran. They both have a primary fire of similar cadence, 2 charges of a dash that damages and a way to live longer.

But in the games I’ve played psylocke I’m literally just throwing. What’s her gameplay loop? I would assume it would be primary fire, stick with shurikens and dash through but I have trouble with that. Especially with hitting the shurikens, it might just be a 1st to 3rd person transition that’s messing with me though.

What team up do I pick, I’ve been doing the c&d one because I’m bad and need another way to take less damage but I’ve seen on here that Emma is better, how do you use that?

And any tips for transitioning to marvel rivals from overwatch would be appreciated too!
