Racing game that can help me learn about cars

I found out I like gathering information about cars like the brands, their models, the story behind their creation etc.

Do you know a racing game with a great carlist of real licenced cars with a codex or paragraphs about the cars so I could learn more about this? Thanks a lot for your suggestions!

(I have basically any platforms, I prefer open world driving games, and graphics able to faithfully showcase the cars models.)
