Sharing my rhabdo story.

I’m a landscape company owner and in my area we experienced an extreme heat wave 105 for 3 straight days and extreme humidity. For context I’ve always been a heavy sweater. Day 1 I got through it mostly fine just normal amounts of fluid loss and didn’t feel funny after working. Day 2 started fine by mid afternoon I felt I was sweating faster than I was replacing by the end of the day I just felt a feeling of depletion I couldn’t really focus I was exhausted. Day 3 I woke up and knew I shouldn’t have went out there but had to pay bills, I started at 8 am by 10am I was on a customers lawn unable to move my whole body locked up. My partner pushed through finished about 10 lawns and I was in the passenger seat in agony. By the time we got back to our shop which was his house I was in a full body cramp legit every part of my body cramped up it was so painful I can’t even explain it. One of our friend came over to hang out and saw me like that on the floor and rushed me to the hospital and saved my life as I was only a hr or 2 from something fatal happening. I luckily responded to iv fluids immediately starting to recover. I only had to stay 2 days despite being on the brink of death. Never ever ignore the early warning signs when you’re already dehydrated working out hydration becomes impossible. I just wanted to share my story as a warning sign to others and open to any questions
