Help! WhatsApp completely wiped years of chats randomly after a glitch/reset (Xiaomi Redmi Note 11, Android 13)

Something completely messed up just happened to my WhatsApp today and I am absolutely devastated. I woke up around 9 AM, texted a friend, and everything was fine. I went back to sleep, and when I woke up again and opened WhatsApp, it showed a random system error. It completely logged me out and prompted me to re-enter my phone number and set up the app from scratch.

I went through the setup process to get back in, but every single chat history, group message, and attachment from the last few years is completely gone. In my groups, it literally says "You were added" or "You created this group" today. Almost 30 GB in total, all gone.

I tried the local backup setup too but unfortunately i am unable to see the 'msgstore' files and the only time i can search for them is by using Files from Google and even that won't let me relocate it.

The google account that was supposedly backing everything says 'No backup found'.

is there any solution to this?
