built a tool that turns our sales call transcripts into linkedin posts because i got tired of writing them myself

so our sales team runs like 45-50 discovery calls a week. every single one has some gold in it, a customer explaining exactly why they almost didn't buy, or some objection that three other prospects said the exact same week. i kept telling our AEs "hey that thing you just said on the call would make a great linkedin post" and then obviously nobody ever wrote it. everyone's too busy, and writing isn't really their job.

i tried just doing it myself for a month. listened back to calls, pulled out the interesting bits, drafted posts for two of our reps. took me like 3-4 hours a week and i'm not even in sales, i just run marketing. it worked, engagement was decent, but it clearly wasn't sustainable for one person to do this by hand for a whole team.

so i started messing around with pulling transcripts through an LLM to see if it could find the same stuff i was manually digging for, the objections, the "wait that's a really good point" moments, the specific language a prospect used. the first few drafts it spit out sounded like a robot wrote a robot's autobiography. had to spend a lot of time getting it to actually sound like each rep instead of one generic "thought leader" voice, since our reps all talk pretty differently and a post that sounds nothing like them just doesn't get posted.

eventually turned this into something called SignalPosts. it reads through call transcripts, finds the themes and objections worth talking about, and drafts a post in that specific rep's voice, then it goes through an approval step so someone can edit it before anything actually gets posted under their name. that part felt important, nobody wants an AI just publishing under their linkedin without a look first.

still actively tweaking the voice-matching part, it's the hardest bit honestly. curious how other people handle turning actual customer conversations into content, do you have someone dedicated to it or does it just not happen at most companies? feels like this is a problem a lot of teams have and just quietly give up on.
