How do I return my Credila education loan after an Australian student visa refusal?
Hi everyone,
My Australian student visa was recently refused, so I won’t be proceeding with my studies.
I have a ₹45 lakh education loan from Credila, and the entire amount was disbursed to my bank account. From that, I paid around ₹13 lakh towards my university tuition fees and OSHC. The university has informed me that the refund will take about 20 working days. The remaining loan amount is still untouched in my bank account.
The problem is that both my Credila branch manager and the loan agent have not responded to my calls or messages for over a week. I’ve also emailed Credila support and am waiting for a response.
Can anyone who has been in a similar situation help with these questions?
Can I return the unused loan amount now, before the university refund is processed?
Will the university refund come to my account or directly to Credila?
Can I visit my nearest Credila branch even though my loan was sanctioned from another state?
Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
