lesson learned: your best sales content is sitting in call recordings nobody ever listens to again

Founder here, so full disclosure up front.

Last year our reps were doing something like 50 discovery and demo calls a week combined. Every single one had a customer explaining, in their own words, why they almost didn't buy, what almost made them walk, what competitor they compared us to. Pure gold for content. And basically none of it ever left the call recording.

We tried the obvious fix first: ask reps to write LinkedIn posts about what they were hearing. Dead on arrival. Reps are busy, most of them don't want to write, and the ones who did write ended up sounding like a corporate blog, not like themselves. Nobody wants to sound like they're reading from a script their marketing team wrote.

Second thing we tried was having marketing write the posts based on call notes. Also didn't work, because marketing wasn't on the calls and the posts read generic. No specific objections, no real voice, just vague "customers love X" fluff that got zero engagement.

What actually seemed to work was pulling the real objections and themes straight out of the transcripts and drafting posts that sounded like the specific rep who was on the call, not like a template. Then having someone actually review and edit before it goes anywhere, because AI drafts from a transcript still need a human to catch the weird phrasing or anything that shouldn't be public.

That's basically what became SignalPosts. It pulls the recurring objections and insights out of call transcripts and drafts posts in each rep's own voice, with an approval step so someone signs off before it's scheduled. Still early, still learning what teams actually want out of it.

Curious how other people here handle this. Do your reps or founders post on LinkedIn at all, or does that content just die in the CRM notes nobody rereads?
