I built a tool for accommodation facilities, restaurants and shops — what do you think as tourists? And if you manage a structure, do you find it interesting?
Hello,
I am a small business owner on Lake Garda and I have built something that I would like to submit to your opinion — both as customers and as possible managers. Hotel and accommodation facilities: have you ever been lying on the bed of the hotel room and wanting to know something - the price of a treatment at the spa, the opening hours of the pool, how much is the room service, if there is still availability for a dinner at the restaurant of the structure - without having to go down to the reception or look for someone? Or to be still traveling, by car or by train to the structure, and want to already browse what is available, book something, get an idea before you even arrive?
With this tool the guest receives a personal link before check-in or scans a QR in the room - and from there has access to everything: services, prices, schedules, information. You can send requests directly to the staff in real time, from the bed, from the pool, from outside. Without going down, without calling, without waiting.
.
Restaurants:
manager side, born as a tool for waiters - they take orders from the table directly from the app, which sends them in real time to the kitchen without paper, without shouting and without errors. For the most enterprising restaurateurs it can also become a tool to allow the customer to make his own order directly from the table, without the waiter.
Shops:
how many times do you pass in front of a closed store, you see something in the window that intrigues you, but you can't see the price, the available sizes, or you just don't know if they also sell anything else that is not exposed? With a QR code applied to the window, the customer scans and accesses the entire store catalog — products, prices, descriptions, everything that is not normally visible or is not always on display. The shopkeeper can add information about the store, contacts, useful links. The customer gets an idea calmly, and when he decides to enter he already knows what he wants — the contact with the person happens at the right time, when the decision is already almost made.
From the manager's point of view:
the most popular management programs cost thousands of euros a year, have dozens of functions and often the staff uses only 20% of what the software offers — the rest remains there, unused and paid for. This was born as a focused tool: digital catalog, communication with the customer, real-time updates. No warehouse, no complex integrations, no online payments. Just what you really need every day, at an affordable cost even for small or new realities — but solid enough to work even in more complex structures looking for something light without carrying everything else.
Two questions:
- As a customer or tourist: have you ever had one of these situations? Would you use a tool like that?
- As a manager (if you are there): do you miss this type of tool, or have you already found solutions that work?
Curious to hear true opinions.
