Fireworks in Woodbury last night

Does anyone know why someone was setting off fireworks on main street in woodbury at around 11:30 last night?
Don’t get me wrong, it was cool to see and very random but the first two were set off next to the police station and im wondering if the people were caught. Also what the fuck they were thinking.
