2009 Honda Jazz (GE) 1.2.

Hi everyone,

I have a 2009 Honda Jazz (GE) 1.2.

I'm trying to identify a metallic rattling noise coming from the right rear wheel.

Symptoms:

• metallic / tin-like rattling sound
• only happens on rough or bumpy roads
• disappears immediately when I lightly press the brake pedal
• braking performance is completely normal
• suspension has already been checked and seems fine

Since the noise stops as soon as the brake is applied, I suspect something in the rear brake assembly (pads, anti-rattle clips, caliper, backing plate, etc.).

Has anyone experienced the same issue? What was the cause?
