Most "buy from China" posts are some version of \*same thing, but cheaper\*. This one is a different category, and it's the single best argument I have for why Xianyu is worth learning:

\## The problem it solves



If you're running one of the \*\*CWWK / 畅网\*\* N100 / N150 / N305 / N355 boards in the passive "big heatsink brick" enclosure — the Elite / 精英版 chassis — you already know what happens under sustained load. It soaks heat, and it throttles.



The community fix is to shove a 120mm fan under it. The community \*implementation\* of that fix is propping your NAS up on a stack of books, some bottle caps, and hope.



A maker in Chengdu designed and 3D-prints an actual base for it: lifts the chassis, mounts a 120mm fan underneath, and is designed so the \*\*stock bottom cover still fits\*\*.

\## The one thing I can't tell you (and I'm not going to pretend otherwise)



\*\*The listing never states what filament it's printed in.\*\* For a part that sits against a warm chassis, that is not a footnote — it's the whole question:

And that's worth a short detour, because it's the thing that surprises people most about Xianyu:



\*\*Xianyu sellers are people, not businesses.\*\* There is no support queue, no SLA, no "we reply within 24 hours." This one is a small workshop-tier seller who last opened the app a couple of hours ago and simply hasn't gotten to me. That's completely normal. Silence is not a red flag here — it's Tuesday.



So here's where I actually land:



\* \*\*If you want this and you don't care about the answer\*\* — it's ¥39, the chassis runs warm rather than scorching, and the base sits under the enclosure rather than bolted to the heatsink fins. Plenty of people are running printed brackets like this. Your call.

\* \*\*If you're putting this in a closed cabinet, or you run it pinned at 100% load\*\* — \*\*ask before you buy.\*\* Message the seller: \*"这个底座是什么耗材打印的?PLA、PETG 还是 ABS/ASA?"\* Copy-paste it, it works.

\* \*\*I'll update this post the moment he answers.\*\* If the answer is PLA, I'll say so in bold, and I'll tell you not to buy it.



I'd rather post this with an open question in it than post it clean and have you find out the hard way.

\## What the seller explicitly does not offer



I'd rather you hear this from me than find out after:



\* \*\*"No returns except for quality defects" (非质量问题不接受退换).\*\* If you order the wrong variant, that's on you.

\* \*\*You must confirm your chassis is the CWWK N100/N305 Elite "big heatsink" model.\*\* This is not a universal bracket. Other N100 cases will not fit.

\* \*\*"Thin" vs "thick" is never explained.\*\* Wall thickness? Ride height? Ride height would directly change fan clearance and therefore airflow. I've asked; will update.

\* \*\*"Original design" is the seller's claim.\*\* I can't verify it.

\* Xianyu listings are \*\*one-of-one and get deleted without warning.\*\* This one could be gone tomorrow.

\## Why I'm posting a ¥39 plastic bracket



Because it makes a point I keep failing to explain any other way.



Xianyu isn't "China's eBay." A large slice of it is \*\*individual makers and micro-workshops selling things they designed themselves\*\*, in volumes far too small for any export channel to ever bother with. Nobody on earth is going to build international logistics around a ¥39 3D-printed bracket for one specific mini-PC chassis. So it never leaves the country — and the rest of us never find out it exists.



\*\*That's the real arbitrage here. It isn't price. It's access.\*\*

\## The honest part: do NOT ship this internationally on its own



I'm not going to pretend otherwise, and I have every commercial incentive to.



It's a ¥39 item. International shipping on a single small plastic bracket will cost \*\*several times the value of the bracket\*\*. Buying this alone and forwarding it abroad is economically stupid, and if you asked me to do it, \*\*I would talk you out of it.\*\*



Where it makes sense is as \*\*the thing that rides along in a box you were shipping anyway\*\* — the $5 item that goes in with the $200 GPU. That's the whole point of consolidation, and it's the only reason things at this price are reachable from outside China at all.



So: bookmark it. Don't chase it.

\## What else is hiding in there?



If a ¥39 fan bracket for a niche NAS chassis exists on Xianyu and nowhere else — \*\*what else is on there that you'd actually want, and have never heard of, because it was never going to be exported?\*\*
