Struck me about a possible WC final. The Battle for North America.

I mean on the 250th anniversary of the declaration of independence and given the French Vs English (ok wider British) battle for prior control of North America it would somehow be tremendously satisfying and fitting. Noting King Charles comment to Trump, if it wasn't for us you'd all be speaking French. 😆

Long, long way to go of course and lots of ifs and buts though I'm struck by the potential fitting significance.

That and winning the WC with a German manager Vs beating a West German team the last time we won it. Can't beat em, make em join us. 😅

But I don't think I'll too bad if we get beat by Norway. One of few teams I don't mind losing to. Argentina, France, Spain, Germany not so much.
