35 (M4F) – Want to build a secret world together?

I’m 35, married, and a dad. Tall, dark hair, green eyes, broad shoulders, and I make a genuine effort not to resemble the stereotypical sleep-deprived adult held together by caffeine and mild disappointment.

Running is my therapy. Lifting keeps me honest. Sarcasm is practically a second language.

I’m the kind of person who wants to know what makes you tick. Tell me about the thing you could talk about for hours, the oddly specific rabbit holes you’ve disappeared into, or the little details everyone else overlooks. Those are usually the interesting parts.

Most people wouldn’t guess I’m a massive nerd. Gaming, fantasy, sci-fi, comics, physics, space, aviation… if it has a passionate fanbase and an unnecessarily deep wiki, I’ve probably been there.

When I’m not collecting obscure trivia I’ll never need, I’m usually in the kitchen. I cook, bake, grill, and smoke meat. I recently upgraded my cookware and bought professional knives, which is either a sign of maturity or the beginning of a very specific midlife crisis.

So why am I here?

Because I miss anticipation.

I miss the slow burn. The conversations that steal hours from your day. The grin when your phone lights up because you already know who’s responsible. I want chemistry that’s effortless, teasing that writes itself, and enough curiosity that neither of us wants to be the one who says goodnight first.

My only ask is simple: match my energy. Be real. Leave the masks for the people who expect them. Show me who you are, and I’ll happily do the same.
