I'm not a watch guy, I don't even have a watch or smartwatch right now. But I'm and EDC guy, I'm carrying the same Skeletool daily since 2014, my wallet is 10 years old, I've been carrying a Nitecore P12 for 10years until I replaced it with another Nitecore, I like the idea of having one single item that I get attached to.

So... I felt in love with GW-9500-3ER (green), looks amazing online. I like all the functions it has (even if I don't spend much time outside the city these days), solar, atomic, triple sensor... but people are saying that it's heavy for daily use and the negative display is not the best.

Went to the only watch store around here and I couldn't find it but I have found the ProTrek PRG-340-3ER, tested it, fits my 18-19cm/7.5in hand, very comfortable, soft strap, I don't really like the blue rectangle on the top of the screen and it does not have atomic.

While comparing these two online, I ended up on a ProTrek PRW-35Y-3B review, it has all the functions that Mudman has (ignoring the toughness) while being lighter and smaller than both, and I really like the display (does not have the colored rectangle). People online still complain about the screen being gloomy I see.

I don't even know what to ask you guys, I think I want the PRW-35Y-3B. Will this watch be tough enough for daily use taking in consideration the organic materials? Or should I just go with the mudman even If I risk getting a watch that will end up not being comfortable enough for daily use.

Are there important criteria that I might have missed?

Thank you!
